Artist through the ages have be interested in depicting innate objects to convey religious themes, familiar surroundings, educational programs, and benchmark the skill of the artist. Common items portrayed by Still Life Artists of the past include everyday objects such as fruit, flowers, coins, food items, wine glasses, and dinnerware. Modern Still Life Artists have experimented with different ways to visualize and portray these objects and with abstraction, some have even completely deconstructed the physical shapes of the objects.
