Get crazy with this cat show! Meowzy is a fun show for the month of January that showcase our furry, feline friends. They are loving, friendly, and simply adorable and make excellent art subjects.
I fondly remember an artist working in residence at my university. He seemingly sole mission was to paint large abstract paintings of cats and lions with bold brush strokes and stunning colors. At the time I thought he was a little crazy, but now I understand his genius and never forgot about his paintings. This memory has become the basis for the theme of this show and a benchmark for the creativity we are after.
