Join us at 3 Square Art in Fort Collins, Colorado, for Introduction to Watercolors and learn the Principles of Watercolors to Craft Stunning Paintings. This 4-Class journey is perfect for beginners and artists with some experience who are eager to explore the magic of translucent hues and transform blank pages into vibrant works of art. With no prior experience needed, you’ll master essential techniques, from fluid washes to intricate blending, all while unleashing your creativity in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Your watercolor adventure begins with the essentials—exploring tools, mastering wet-on-wet and dry-brush techniques, and even learning to fix mistakes with confidence. From there, you’ll unlock the power of brushstrokes and textures, creating playful abstracts with stippling and salt effects. In the third class, you’ll dive into color theory, blending nature’s palette to paint a serene landscape inspired by Mother Nature’s beauty. Finally, bring it all together by crafting a stunning still life masterpiece featuring flowers and everyday objects, challenging your skills and leaving you with a frame-worthy piece to proudly display.

Over four engaging classes, you’ll not only learn the principles of watercolor but also gain the tools to keep creating long after the course ends. Cost: $155 for the Full Course (4 class set)
Age: 18+ All skill and creative levels welcome (younger artists are welcome with accompanying adult)
Experience Required: This class is suitable for both beginners and intermediate artists desiring a firm understanding of the watercolor medium. Drawing I skills are helpful, but not required.
