Over 4-classes, intermediate painters will craft a single, stunning oil painting under the expert guidance of our instructor, drawing inspiration from Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and Rubens. Using authentic techniques like grisaille and glazing, you’ll master dramatic light, rich textures, and vibrant depth, transforming your canvas into a work of classical grandeur.
Begin with a grisaille underpainting to establish form and shadow, then refine your composition with detailed brushwork, building the foundation of your Baroque vision. Age: 18+ All skill and creative levels welcome (younger artists are welcome with accompanying adult)
Experience Required: Drawing I and Introduction to Figure Drawing skills are helpful, but not required.
